Course Description:
Civics is a one semester class which looks at the fundamental principles and basic structure of American government. The class includes an in-depth look at the foundations of government, origins of American government, the Constitution, federalism, the political process, civil liberties, making foreign policy, and state and local government. Special projects will include such topics as the three branches of government and the US role in international affairs.
Please note: Students must attend a public meeting.
